ACC Votes Connects Community With Nonpartisan Election Resources

With early voting underway for the November 3 midterm election, Austin Community College District (ACC) is helping the community connect with nonpartisan voting resources and opportunities for civic engagement through ACC Votes.

The initiative provides information to help the community understand the voting process, prepare for elections, and find reliable resources. ACC also hosts campus events to bring students together around civic participation.

The November ballot includes federal, state, and local races, along with measures that affect specific communities. Voters across Texas will decide races for governor, lieutenant governor, U.S. senator, and other offices. Depending on where they live, voters may also see local contests and ballot measures.

For ACC District voters, three Board of Trustees seats — Places 1, 2, and 3 — are on the ballot. Voters within the Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) boundaries will also decide whether that territory should join the ACC District.
