What’s Happening

The 2022 bond will help ACC expand facilities at Hays Campus. Projects include expanding facilities that support the health sciences programs.

Expected Groundbreaking for Summer 2026

Current Status: In progress, the design phase. The anticipated completion of the programming phase is March 2026.

What to Expect

• When completed, the new 5000 building will provide a new home for our Health Sciences program in the South Region. ACC’s nursing program will anchor the building and include other health sciences programs. 
• Beyond the building, there will be additional site improvements, such as a driveway, parking lot, and site landscaping. The building will aim to receive LEED Silver certification.
