What’s Happening
The 2022 bond project will help expand facilities at the Round Rock Campus (RRC). Projects include an expansion of facilities that support the college’s Advanced Manufacturing & Skilled Trades programs as well as its Health Sciences programs.

Timeline
The timeline for the Round Rock Campus expansion includes two phases. The first phase supports the skilled trades programs. The second phase supports the health sciences expansion.
Phase 1: Skilled Trades Programs Expansion

Expected Completions for fall semester 2026 and spring semester 2027
- New Automotive Building 4000 | Fall 2026
- New Advanced Manufacturing and HART Building 5500 | Fall 2026
- Renovation of Building 5000 | Spring 2027
Current Status: In progress, construction phase.
What to Expect
Phase 1 of the Round Rock Campus project will expand facilities that support high-demand programs in the skilled trades.
Building 5500
A 24,200 square-foot space will house programs in Advanced Manufacturing, HVAC, and shell space for a future program.
Building 4000
A 36,500 square-foot facility designed for the Automotive Technology program, featuring a dedicated space for the college’s partnership with Toyota’s T-Ten program and a potential future Battery Electric Vehicle space.
