Community Support

The City of Austin Economic Development Department, with an initial support commitment over the next three years, is committed to gainful workforce development in the fashion industry. They are also providing financial support to build out and attain needed technology to engage and educate students, emerging fashion businesses, and local industry.

Gerber Technology, in an agreement with the City of Austin, has agreed to provide $13.1M of digitally based equipment and software to provide the needed foundation for efficient product development and student education in industry-leading software.

We’re passionate about building and elevating our local industry and we want to support the incredible amount of creativity, talent, and drive that propels our economic development.
