Donate now to the ACC Food Drive

Austin Community College (ACC) is accepting donations for its spring food drive during the month of February. Donations benefit the ACC Food Pantry Program.

Sponsored by Student Life, the program provides canned foods and other non-perishable goods such as cereal, granola bars, trail mix, chips, peanut butter, canned vegetables, and canned fruit to ACC students.

“Food insecurity is a growing concern nationally and right here at home. Life struggles are very real. As an institution, we must do everything we can to help,” says Dr. Guillermo “Willie” Martinez, Student Engagement and Analytics associate vice president. “Our food drives help ensure the pantries are stocked and ready for our students when they need the support.”

Items can be donated at any Student Life Office 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. There also is a collection box at the Highland Campus ACCelerator which is accessible during regular opening hours.
