United States Senate

Democrats

  • James Talarico: James Talarico is a Representative in the Texas House of Representatives for District 50, which represents large portions of Round Rock and the surrounding suburbs. Talarico has campaigned on a populist message of removing money from politics, taxing and reducing the power of billionaires, and fighting against political corruption. His campaign has rejected corporate funds and sources money from grassroots donations. He is a devout Christian who has used his faith throughout his campaign to highlight his message on affordability and political reform.
  • Jasmine Crockett: Jasmine Crockett is a current member of the United States House of Representatives representing downtown and Southern Dallas. She gained notoriety through her verbal spars with Republicans in Congress that were published online. She has centered her campaign around her Congressional record and her self-described fighting spirit, advocating for a tough stance against the Trump administration.

Republicans

  • John Cornyn: Incumbent John Cornyn has represented Texas in the United States Senate since 2002, serving as the senior Senator for the state. He is running for reelection and has served as a stalwart for Republicans in the Senate. He has supported President Trump in all three elections he has run in and was a proponent of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” passed by Congress in 2025.
  • Ken Paxton: Ken Paxton is the current Attorney General of Texas and is challenging Cornyn in the Republican Primary. A staunch supporter of President Trump, he has centered his campaign on aligning with the President’s goals and being a key ally for him. He has proposed extending the border wall in Texas and lowering corporate tax rates.
  • Wesley Hunt: Wesley Hunt currently serves as the United States Representative for House District 38. He has also aligned himself with President Trump politically and has emphasized his campaign promises to shrink the national debt, support Israel, and having a hard-line stance on immigration.

Texas Governor

Democrats

  • Gina Hinojosa: Gina Hinojosa is a former Civil Rights Lawyer who is currently running for Texas Governor. She has emphasized her outsider status in politics and speaks regularly about her experience as a mother. She advocates for reducing the cost of healthcare and improving the status of Texas schools.
  • Bobby Cole: Bobby Cole is a retired firefighter and farmer running for Governor. His campaign centers around making Texas more affordable and protecting workers. He has advocated for expanding Medicaid and ending the Voucher program for private schools currently in place in Texas.

Republicans

  • Greg Abbott: Greg Abbott is the current governor of Texas, seeking a fourth term in that office. As governor, he has promoted a conservative agenda that includes a total abortion ban, a voucher program for private schools, open-carry gun laws, and a border wall. He has aligned himself with President Trump.
  • Pete Chambers: Pete Chambers is a retired Green Beret challenging Abbot in the Republican Primary. He advocates for abolishing property taxes, constructing a border wall, term limits for politicians, and establishing “Citizen Participation Task Forces” to involve Texans in crafting policy.

U.S. House District 47

Democrats

  • Pooja Sethi: Pooja Sethi is the current Chief of Staff for Texas State Representative Vikki Goodwin. Sethi has made education and safety a central feature of her campaign, advocating for fully funded public education, expanding medical access, and cracking down on street racing.
  • Joseph Kosper: Joseph Kosper is a technology entrepreneur and army combat veteran running for House District 47. He has advocated for supporting small businesses, strengthening public safety, and increased funding for public education.
