– Luke Garza is currently in pre-production to shoot his short film, SPECTRAL WIND, a supernatural drama, mid-May. A few of his students (Sanju Jacob, Megan Kallus, Melissa Baez) will be production assistants on the film.
– Charlotte Gullick will have a featured piece in
Forge Literary in August where she explores the critical nature of being more responsive to gender fluidity. Additionally, Charlotte was awarded in the Gold Star for Teaching and Mentorship from
American Short Fiction in November 2020.
– In April, Lindsey Lane had a piece accepted to The New York Times. The prompt was Renewal. Fifteen words.
– Laura Neill’s play, Public Property, was awarded a ScriptWorks Revision Resource grant.
– Joe O-Connell was awarded a sabbatical for the 2021-22 academic year.
– Adeena Reitberger has a story in issue #37 of FENCE called “We Were Having a Nice Time Until We Weren’t.”
