Congratulations to the dance department’s Darla Johnson and the entire team of dance students, faculty, and staff who worked together to produce A Wild Love for the World. The original work, choreographed by Johnson, was selected for the American College Dance Association At-Large Virtual Adjudication Gala Concert A, which streamed nationally on May 1, 2022.
ACDA adjudication provides a mechanism for educational feedback crucial for choreographic and artistic development. Gala concerts are curated by a panel of national adjudicators at the top of the field, and this year ACC was one of only three 2-year colleges nationwide to be selected for a gala concert out of dozens of national 2- and 4-year college dance performance entries.
