The Future Fit Council is an arm of the Alliance of Future Makers composed of leaders in industry, education, economic development, and non-profit leaders, as well as policymakers across the ACC service area.
As a founding member, your organization will help:
- Provide Strategic Input: Advise on workforce needs to keep ACC programs responsive and relevant.
- Collaborate on Innovation Projects: Co-develop pilot programs that apply new technologies in training and education.
- Support Talent Pathways: Partner to remove barriers to high-demand career opportunities.
- Champion Regional Growth: Advocate for a vibrant, future-fit regional economy.
What to Expect
Members will meet quarterly to collaborate on the future of Central Texas. Discussions will support sustainable growth, student opportunity, and upward economic mobility of all citizens.
The Future Fit Council will convene quarterly for 2026 on the following dates:
- Tuesday, March 31 @ 2 – 3:30 p.m.
- Thursday, April 30 – Friday, May 1, 2026 @ Summit of Future Makers
- Thursday, August 13, 2026 @ 10 – 11:30 a.m.
- Thursday, November 19, 2026 @ 10 – 11:30 a.m.
