The departmental meetings are open to all who wish to attend. College policy requires attendance by full-time faculty and staff, but adjunct faculty and staff are quite welcome and are crucial to the functioning of the department and establishing departmental policies. Meetings are traditionally held on the second Friday of each month and are typically held online or at the Highland Campus (when in-person), as this is the most central location for most. The Department Chair will notify all faculty and staff of exact meeting dates, times, locations, and what agenda items are included.
Committee meetings are held whenever they are most convenient. The chair of a committee is responsible for notifying the members of the committee of the meeting times and places.
