America’s Biopharmaceutical Companies and Austin Community College’s Bioscience Incubator (ABI) are excited to host a panel discussion on Monday, June 12, “Texas Leads in Biotech,” in partnership with the Texas Tribune that will focus on innovation in the bioscience industry. A
The panel discussion, which will take place from 9am-10am at ACC’s Highland Campus, will highlight Central Texas as an incubator for biotech jobs and life-saving innovations, focusing on the companies and organizations that are promoting this work in Austin and around the state. The discussion will also highlight Texas as a global leader in economic development, including how the state’s policies have driven economic expansion, created jobs and successfully brought together entrepreneurs, research, economic development interests and education to support the industry.
The panel will be moderated by Evan Smith, Co-founder and CEO of the Texas Tribune. Other panelists include:
