ACC Drama offers their first musical with The Mad Ones

Creating a heartfelt musical like The Mad Ones with students and artists from the community was such a fun and loving experience. Everyone involved made each rehearsal and performance full of laughs, smiles, and sometimes, due to the nature of the show, beautiful tears. Each cast and crew member brought their all to the production and really worked to make a powerful show. The Mad Ones was the perfect start to introduce the new musical theater program here in the ACC Drama Department. The joy, ache, and life present in the songs, words, and moments of The Mad Ones were conveyed throughout this production, demonstrating the possibilities to come with this new degree. It is exciting to see the drama department grow and offer further ways for its students to shine. The new musical theater degree gives students and the community even more opportunities to collaborate, learn, and make art together.
