Benefits of the WIT Program

For many women, going to college to obtain a degree may seem like an impossible dream. You may feel stuck in a job that pays the bills but isn’t going to offer you the career opportunities you want for long-term security. You might even have obligations such as caring for children or elderly parents. Join us for an information session and find out how we can support you as you can take charge of your future. The high-demand field of Information Technology needs women like you!

Support

Our goal is to help women be successful in reaching both short term and long term goals despite unique challenges they may encounter.  A dedicated student support specialist is available to direct you to college resources, support services, and act as your academic coach. You will also receive on-going departmental advising, have internship opportunities, and receive career placement assistance.

Community

Women in Information Technology seeks to create a community to support women and their journey in the IT field. We offer free events for WIT participants such as panel discussions which connect you with industry experts and cover topics to help you achieve academic and career success.
