Completed proposal packets for program updates (including new, revised, and expired programs/awards) and consent items need to include:

For existing program maps, double-check information for accuracy and provide any applicable updates (including stackable AAS pathway in the certificate’s intro, etc.); also ensure that the Department Contact information is current.

- Additional supporting documentation, as needed — refer to the appropriate THECB resource(s) for guidance, including the Career and Technical Education Guidelines for workforce programs and the Academic Course Guide Manual for academic programs.
- CMS course application form(s) as needed to support your proposal — refer to the current catalog’s course descriptions listing for guidance on style/formatting, etc. (i.e. prerequisite courses do not have hyphens in between the course rubric and course number and do not include course titles); and ensure that course information populated in the CMS course application form is in alignment with the ACGM for transfer programs or with WECM for workforce program.
Note: submitted CMS form(s) will be downloaded and inserted into your final proposal packet PDF file, once approved by your Department Chair, Dean, and AVC.
