Austin, Texas — Austinites had plenty to cheer about Saturday night as Austin FC delivered a decisive 3–1 victory over the San Jose Earthquakes, keeping their postseason hopes alive. The win at Q2 Stadium electrified the home crowd and pushed the Verde & Black into 7th place in the Western Conference — the final playoff spot.

Osman Bukari opened the scoring with his third goal of the season, assisted by Owen Wolff, setting the tone early for Austin. San Jose leveled the match soon after, but the home side never wavered. Myrto Uzuni calmly restored the lead with a composed finish, and late in the match Bruno Wilson sealed the victory, rising above the Earthquakes’ backline to head in the third goal.

Beyond the scoring, Austin’s energy and resilience carried them throughout the night. Head coach Josh Wolff praised his side’s determination, saying, “We’ve talked all year about playing with belief. Tonight, you saw that belief pay off.”
