The ACC Board of Trustees and college staff began planning for a bond election several years ago and undertook a variety of planning activities before the November 2014 vote.
The planning included the formation of a citizen advisory committee that ensured input from college and community stakeholders. The 25-member group reviewed planning completed by the college in recent years and presented a list of projects it considered urgent after months of study. Trustees streamlined those projects to form the bond proposals approved by voters.
