ACC Bond Projects: Elgin Campus

OPENED FEBRUARY 2018

ACC’s Elgin Campus is the first college campus in Bastrop County. It enrolls hundreds of students in Early College High School, transferable core curriculum courses, and college-readiness classes.

A new 18,500-square-foot instructional building and 11,000-square-foot outbuilding will support ACC’s Veterinary Technology and Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship programs.

The new building will include teaching spaces, a surgical clinic, and small animal wards. In addition to space for washing and handling crops, the outbuilding will house a tractor maintenance workshop and include covered pens for large animals, treatment stocks and a cattle chute, and areas to store hay, animal feed, and farm implements.
