Business Administration majors dominate the list of four-year degrees most in demand. In Austin, a two-year associate in Business Administration is a great credential to get students in the door for entry level positions.

- Accounting
- Advertising
- Business Administration/Management
- Computer Science
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Information Sciences
- Logistics/Supply Chain
- Management Information Systems
- Marketing
- Sales
According to Indeed.com (Feb 2022) some of the top jobs in demand in the Austin area are:
- Analysts
- Bankers
- Business Consultants
- Data Marketers
- Financial Advising
- Health Administrators with Business
- Information Analysts
- Project Managers

It is true that many of these jobs require a 4-year degree but in looking at jobs on Indeed, many will also hire a two-year associate in business. The strengths of this program are versatility (good entry-level credential for lots of jobs that are not “dead-end” jobs) and long-term impact (how many people in the community are working in pretty good mid-level jobs who got started from an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration).
