Skills Lab

Nursing Skills Lab

ACC’s Nursing Skills Labs contain a variety of patient simulators and necessary patient care equipment. These labs provide an opportunity for nursing students to improve their critical thinking skills in combination with psychomotor skills, and build self confidence in a safe environment. Please note there is limited open lab time during the first weeks of each semester. Please take advantage of time between semesters to prepare for Mastery Check-offs.

If this is your first visit to the lab, you are encouraged to visit the Policies and Procedures page before you proceed. If this is your first experience with Simulation, please view the Welcome to the Simulation Lab presentation and the Mannequin Features and Functionality video.

Open Lab Requirements:

  • ACC Student ID.
  • Closed toe shoes.
  • It is strongly recommended that you bring your lab kit.
  • Scrubs are not required for Open Lab.

Open Lab Hours are subject to change on a daily basis. Check the calendar prior to coming to the lab.
