I have carefully read the program's "Essential Functions" and "Technical Standards" and believe, to the best of my knowledge, that I can meet these "Essential Functions" and "Technical Standards".
Students must make a "C" or better in the lecture/laboratory course (PLAB 1323/1023) before being allowed to attend PLAB 1166 (Phlebotomy Clinical).
In the laboratory, students will practice blood collection techniques on each other; this is not an option.
The Phlebotomy Technician application can be submitted with 2 of the 3 Hepatitis B shots completed and the 3rd completed before the semester begins.
GPA = 60% of the ranking score
TEAS = 40% of the ranking score
