SPCH 1311: Introduction to Speech Communication

Introduction to Speech Communication focuses on increasing students’ communication competence in a variety of contexts. This course provides an overview of communication principles, interpersonal communication, small group communication, and public speaking.

Virtual Meetings for Distance Learning Courses:

My distance learning courses hold virtual meetings using Zoom. All participants must be seen and heard throughout the meeting. A working webcam, headphones and microphone are required for attending virtual meetings.

We’ll meet twice each term, and you’ll sign up for virtual meetings, held on specific dates at specific times.

During these weeks, you will attend a virtual meeting at one of the following times – sign ups will occur in advance of the meetings:
