Phi Theta Kappa Membership Instructions

New Member Instructions:

To apply for membership:

  • Please complete the Alpha Gamma Pi Membership Form and then go to PTK.org to pay the membership dues using the passcode assigned in the email invitation. The passcode does expire, so please accept your membership before it expires.
  • Use an ACC email address on the application and for all communications.
  • It will take 48 hours or more to receive a welcome email from the international office.
  • Receiving a membership packet in the mail can take up to 4-6 weeks.
  • For questions regarding the welcome email, membership packet, or certificate corrections call Phi Theta Kappa International at 601.984.3504.

If an email from the international office is not received within one week of accepting membership, please follow up with Advisor Mary Kohls at [email protected] or Carol Hernandez, PTK Liaison, at [email protected].

Returning Members and Membership Transfers:

To become an active member or transfer membership from an existing chapter to the Alpha Gamma Pi chapter:

  • Please fill out the Alpha Gamma Pi Membership Form.
  • Use an ACC email address on the application and for all communications.
  • Pay membership dues ($10) at the link on your form.

  • Events and event details, including the point of contact, are on the Alpha Gamma Pi calendar.  
  • General meetings are every Friday at 7:00 PM, some in person, and some will have the hybrid option. Links are on the calendar. 
  • Join us on Discord or connect with us on social media. Please contact the officer team for the Discord invitation link.
  • Committee details are in the handbook or on the website. For committee questions, please get in touch with the committee chairs.
  • Please contact the Alpha Gamma Pi Officer Team for all other event questions. Contact information is in the handbook and on the website.
  • To have a transcript reflect Phi Theta Kappa membership, email [email protected] or call (512) 223-4636 to update your transcript. It is best to wait until the certificate is received. 
  • For graduating members, regalia is available for purchase, if not yet earned, at our office at the Highland Campus, bldg 2000, room 2200.
