Nursing Skills Lab
Austin Community College offers nursing skills laboratories located at four locations. Each location contains a variety of patient simulators and necessary patient care equipment. These labs provide an opportunity for nursing students to improve their critical thinking skills in combination with psychomotor skills, and build self confidence in a safe environment.
If this is your first visit to the lab, you are encouraged to visit the Skills Lab Policies page before you proceed. Please note there is limited open lab time during the first weeks of each semester. Please take advantage of time between semesters to prepare for Mastery Check-offs. Open Lab Hours are subject to change on a daily basis. Check the calendar prior to coming to the lab.

Anatomy and Physiology I Assessment Testing Suspended for Summer and Fall 2020 Registration Only
Due to COVID-19, and in response to ACC campuses limiting access to essential personnel only, the A&P I Assessment Test has been suspended for the remainder of this testing period and the Fall testing period. TEAS Requirement Waived For Spring 2021 Vocational Nursing Applications Due to COVID-19
Due to testing center closures, the TEAS test application requirement will be waived for the Spring 2021 Vocational Nursing application cycle. This is a temporary exception for Spring 2021 admission only and is due to the uncertainty of testing center normal operations due to COVID-19.
