Value Statement

Austin Community College District values the health and welfare of its students.

Administrative Rule

  1. Students are responsible for the provisions and maintenance of their individual health needs.
  2. While the College does not provide direct health services to students, the College has selected, through competitive bidding, a preferred insurance agent for students who wish to purchase their own health insurance.
  3. Students should report health care emergencies immediately to a College employee or to the Campus Police. Emergency medical services will be dispatched if the situation warrants.
