Value Statement

The Austin Community College District (“ACC”) is dedicated to exemplary instruction and student support services. The Faculty Workload policy reflects that commitment by seeking to provide the proper balance between teaching, service, and student support.

Administrative Rule

Workload and assignments for full-time faculty shall fulfill the instructional and student support needs of the College in accordance with the Guidelines/Procedures 4.1000.03.1. Primary responsibility for faculty workloads and assignments is with the appropriate department chair or supervisor, in consultation with the faculty member, and subject to approval of the dean, and other administrators as appropriate.
