Value Statement
The Austin Community College District (“ACC” or “the College”) encourages and promotes educational advancement and lifelong learning, which ensures an experienced and skilled workforce.
Administrative Rule
Non-faculty employees who have held a staffing table position for at least twelve (12) consecutive months are eligible for the Educational Incentive Award upon earning an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctoral degree, or an ACC college credit workforce technical certificate. The degree must be from an accredited institution of higher education. The ACC technical certificate must be directly related to the employee’s position.
The non-faculty employee is responsible for submitting the Educational Incentive Award
Application and an official transcript to the Office of Human Resources. The Non-Faculty
Employee Educational Incentive Award Application can be found in the Human Resources section of the online forms inventory.
An employee is eligible for one award per educational category which is on a higher level than their highest credential.
Full-time non-faculty employees may receive a one-time award as follows:
Technical Certificate Associate’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree Master’s Degree Doctoral Degree |
$ 500 $ 750 $ 1,200 $ 1,500 $ 2,000 |
Part-time, non-faculty staffing table employees are eligible for a pro-rated Educational Incentive Award. Hourly and faculty employees are not eligible for an Educational Incentive Award.
