Notice for Students and Faculty: Office 365 Access Updates
ACC Information Technology recently updated how students access Office 365 services, including A3 desktop-level applications for personal devices.
Student Office 365 accounts are now automatically provisioned through ACC Okta Single Sign-On (SSO). As long as students are actively enrolled, they no longer need to create or request Office 365 accounts manually. This is a significant improvement that should simplify access moving forward.
Please note that this process does not apply to faculty or staff. Most faculty already have the required Microsoft software through the full Office 2021 LTSC Suite installed on ACC-owned devices.
Because of this update, older department-specific Office 365 setup instructions may no longer be accurate. Our department does not manage Office 365 accounts directly, and since this change applies institution-wide, students and faculty should instead reference ACC IT’s official documentation for the most current instructions.
