Welcome to the Health Information Technology Program

  • Helps prepare you to obtain Certification by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).

  • Easily transfer your credits towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, should you desire.

The Health Information Management accreditor of Austin Community College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). ACC’s accreditation for Associate Degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2022-2029.
