Welcome to the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging modality that utilizes the resonant frequency properties of atoms that are placed within a powerful magnetic field. MRI provides excellent contrast between different soft tissues of the body making it especially useful in neurological (brain), musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging.

  • MRI program cycle delayed until Spring 2021

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the next MRI program cycle is delayed until Spring 2021 and will take place during the Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 semesters. The deadline for Spring 2021 entering applicants has been extended to November 1, 2020.
