Program Accreditation
The Radiology Program at Austin Community College is accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. The Joint Review Committee is the only agency that is authorized by the United States Department of Education to award accreditation to Radiologic Technology Programs. Accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology is the public’s assurance that the program has met rigorous Standards of Accreditation which will ensure that the student will receive an education that will provide the student with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism necessary for a successful career in medical imaging.
This program was awarded the maximum duration of eight years accreditation by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) in 2023.
