Myth and Structure, Concerning “After Hades, Always Persephone”

This several years ago my step-mother, Margie Harrison Grant, died. I was able to see her several times in the weeks before she died, and I was glad of that. The last time I saw her, two days before she died, she was weak but still making a quiet joke and enjoyed a slice of chocolate meringue pie that her son sneaked into her room at the nursing home.
