Earn 3 credit hours MRKG 1391 Special Topics, Collegiate Experiential Learning and 3 credit hours MRKG 1302 Principles of Retailing while exploring Paris with your ACC classmates and Professor Kathy Walton.
Note –
1. There will, absolutely, be NO substitutions of other courses for these two courses.
2. MRKG 1391 Special Topics, Collegiate Experiential Learning may be repeated, however, it will only count once and the highest grade will be used when calculating the final ACC GPA.
3. MRKG 1302 Principles of Retailing may be repeated, however, it will only count once and the highest grade will be used when calculating the final ACC GPA.
What better way to study fashion than at its heart – Paris – where you can gain first-hand experience through the arts, fashion history, and fashion in today’s business world? Consider yourself invited to the France – Fashion study abroad program, an adventure of a lifetime to study the history, culture, art, and future of the fashion world.
SESSION AND DATES
- Session: First 5-week Summer Session 2024
- Class at ACC before departure: Orientation
- Program in France: May 22 – June 5 (Depart Austin to Paris – Tuesday May 21)
ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION
- 18 years or older by program departure date
- Good academic standing by end of Fall 2023
- Prerequisites – None
PROGRAM FEE – $3,100
Includes:
- Accommodations
- Workshops
- Excursions and entrance fees per itinerary
- Ground transportation
- Welcome dinner
- 24/7 logistics support and emergency assistance
Students are also responsible for the following expenses NOT included in the program fee:
- Round-trip airfare from Austin to Paris
- ACC course tuition, fees, and books
- Meals not included in program fee
- Personal expenses
- International travel health insurance
- Passport and visa fees (if applicable)
- Vaccinations (if applicable)
A $400 non-refundable deposit, applied towards the program fee, is required to secure a spot on the program.
Program fee payment deadline is due February 29, 2024 via ACC Marketplace.
