Ina Midkiff is the Department Chair of Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, and Real Estate. She has taught at Austin Community College for over 20 years. She earned a BBA and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Tarleton State University. Over the years she has served as Division Chair of Business Studies Division, Department Chair of Management, Associate Dean at Cypress Creek Campus, Assistant Department Chair of Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, and Real Estate and served as an officer of Austin Community College’s Faculty Association. She also has had several consulting jobs for small Internet companies. She teaches Advertising, Marketing, and Financial Management courses.
She received the ACC Teaching Excellence Award for the outstanding full-time faculty member (2004-2005) of the year in May 2005. She was the 2002 Piper Professor Nominee from Austin Community College. In 1991 she received the NISOD Teaching Excellence Award at ACC and has been nominated several times as the outstanding full-time instructor at ACC by the Phi Theta Kappa student association. Her professional affiliations include Texas Community College Teachers Association and the Southwestern Administrative Disciplines in Marketing.

Eileen has over ten years of experience in Retail Management with focus in Customer Relations and has earned her AAS in Visual Communications from Austin Community College. She has collaborated with ACC’s Creative Design Technologies and ACC’s Architectural and Engineering CAD Departments while serving as Graphic Designer and Graphic Design Tutor. Eileen has brought a valuable set of skills, experiences and diversity to our department and now serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Marketing, Fashion, Real Estate and Finance Departments.

Courtney Ahrenholtz has been an NASD licensed securities supervisor, producer and agent and has an extensive background in banking and financial services. Courtney lead the flagship branch of a Fortune 100 bank in the Austin and has been part of setup teams for new (deNovo) retail bank operations in the area. Courtney has also worked in various teaching and support roles with the Leander Independent School District.Courtney is a small business owner of and the active beekeeper for Green Fields Apiary. She is an active member in the community and has served multiple non-profit organizations.
In 2002, Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in French from the University of Northern Colorado. She continued her studies at Texas A&M–Commerce where she earned a Master of Science degree in Business Management in 2010. Courtney strongly believes in serving the community and has served for several non-profit organizations in Central Texas. She has traveled extensively and enjoys learning about new cultures and customs.

Jason Ahrenholtz joined the ACC faculty in fall of 2008 as an Assistant Adjunct Professor in Financial Management. Jason has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming. Jason relocated to the Austin area from Colorado in 2005. He has been in the banking industry for approximately 20 years and has held various positions within the banking sector. Additionally, he is a commissioned bank examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Jason is very active in the community and has volunteered with several non-profit organizations in the Austin area.

Stacia L. Ashmore is an instructor for Austin Community College, as an Adjunct Professor since 2001. She is qualified to teach Real Estate Appraisal, Property Management, Principles I & II, Law of Contracts, Law of Agency and Texas Notary Law. These classes have been approved by the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) and the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to qualify toward licensing requirements. Stacia has completed course work at the University of Texas, Austin, in the field of Education and Educational Psychology and has earned an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Real Estate from Austin Community College.
Stacia L. Ashmore has been involved in real estate since 1991. She has experience in the areas of loan processing, real estate sales transactions representing both buyers and sellers, consultation, property management, leasing and residential appraisals. Stacia has been appraising on a full time basis since 1998. Stacia is a state certified residential appraiser, Certification #TX-1329540-R and is the founder and sole proprietor of Texas Hill Country Appraisals since 2000. Stacia is also a licensed real estate broker, Broker License #0478152, and is the founder and sole proprietor of Texas Hill Country Real Estate Services, offering full brokerage and property management services for residential properties.

Rachel Clampffer has served as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at Austin Community College since August 2025. As a licensed Real Estate Broker and owner of a brokerage, Rachel brings both her professional expertise and practical experience into the classroom, helping students prepare for success in the real estate industry.
Rachel is an accredited member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and a former Urban Planning and Development Services Director. In addition to her brokerage work, she is an experienced real estate investor and land developer, offering students a well-rounded perspective on the many career paths available within the field of real estate.
Rachel holds an Associate of Applied Science in Real Estate from Austin Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Texas A&M University. A lifelong learner, she continues to take courses in both real estate and urban planning to deepen her expertise.
Rachel has lived in Central Texas for over twenty years and is passionate about the community and the real estate profession. She enjoys helping students launch their real estate careers and takes great pride in assisting students succeed. When not working, Rachel enjoys time with family, reading, and gaming.

Pete Glover has been licensed to practice real estate by the Texas Real Estate Commission since 1973. He is currently the broker/owner of Pete Glover, REALTOR, specializing in residential and commercial sales, property management and leasing services. Mr. Glover is a member of National Association of REALTORS, Texas Association of REALTORS, Austin Board of REALTORS, and the Austin Central Texas Realty Information Service. He has taught at Austin Community College as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate since September 1980. He teaches all areas offered by the Real Estate Department including college credit, continuing education, and mandatory Texas Real Estate Commission courses.
Mr. Glover earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, Connecticut, and also holds an Associate Degree of Real Estate from Austin Community College. He was awarded his pilot wings after graduating from United States Air Force pilot training in 1967. He served as a pilot in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War flying 100+ combat missions. During his service, he was awarded the Air Force Air Medal with oak leaf clusters. In 2004 he was honored by receiving the NISOD Teaching in Excellence Award which is awarded by the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin.

Job Hammond is a Professor of Real Estate at Austin Community College and a licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas. He is an active practitioner within the Austin real estate market. As a dedicated advocate for lifelong learning, he has earned over 30 real estate designations and certifications. He has also completed more than 425 real estate classes, totaling over 2,300 hours of education to the benefit of his clients and students. Job has earned 10 college and university degrees, a total that includes four master’s degrees. His academic foundation at Austin Community College includes an Associate of Arts in General Studies, an Associate of Applied Science in Real Estate Brokerage Licensing, and a Certificate in Real Estate.
In January 2025, Job was honored with the Ethics Award from the Austin Board of REALTORS®. He was previously recognized as the 2019 REALTOR® of the Year by the same organization. Between 2019 and 2023, he was a three-time winner of the Platinum Top 50 awards for Austin. This program recognizes the top 50 residential real estate professionals based on sales, education, industry participation, and civic leadership. Additionally, he is a multi-year award winner on the A-List, which identifies the top 50 residential real estate producers nationwide from the Asian Real Estate Association of America.
Job is committed to giving back to his profession through leadership. He served for seven years as a Director for the Austin Board of REALTORS® and four years on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI). He is currently serving his 2022 to 2026 term as Regional Vice President on the Executive Board for Texas REALTORS®.

Vance E. Powell III has been instructing part-time at Austin Community College for the past 3 years. Prior part-time teaching experience includes 4 years with the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and 6 years with the American College of Real Estate. Vance is an independent Fee Appraiser and Market Analyst. His appraisal experience encompasses all types of commercial and residential properties. Since 1973 he has been actively involved in numerous aspects of the real estate profession and is experienced in real property appraisal, acquisition, development, counseling, financing, management, and instruction. He has testified as an expert witness in Bexar, Comal, Dallas, Harris, Travis, and Williamson Counties in Texas. Mr. Powell holds a BBA from the University of Texas with a concentration in Real Estate.
He has been very active in serving in the professional appraisal associations being elected the local SREA Chapter President during 1987-1988. Other positions include 3 years as the Vice chair (1985, 1986, and 1987) on the National SREA Foundation and the National Continuing Education Committee, six years on the SREA Standard of Professional Practice committee, two years (1989-1990) on the AIREA Regional Standards Committee, 4 years on the Regional Standards of Professional Practice Committee for the newly merged Appraisal Institute, two years on the AIREA National Division of Professional Recognition Committee 1989-1990, and during 1991 he served on the Appraisal Institute’s National Public Relations Committee and was an elected one of the Chapter Regional Representatives.

J. Robert Santos is a strategic and results-driven change agent with extensive experience in operations, business development, and management. He is the Broker/Owner at Prolific Commercial Realty, LLC in Austin, TX, where he has successfully negotiated and executed sale and lease contracts for clients using strategic tactics.
In addition, he also undertakes underwriting analysis for diverse projects based on investor objectives and goals, ensures compliance with city and county regulations for future development by collaborating with governing authorities, and fosters positive relationships with attorneys, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Corporate Finance, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management and is an Accredited Business Intermediary.

Patrick Tighe

Professor Tighe is a Real Estate Attorney and Licensed Broker, with over a decade of experience acquiring, developing, and selling large real estate projects. He is passionate about bringing better solutions to the building, construction, and sustainable development sector of the real estate industry. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Austin Community College since 2024.
He is also a longtime Riverbat. He began his academic career at ACC in 2005 and after completing his core curriculum, he transferred to the University of Texas where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Government with High Honors. Subsequently, he received a law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he attended on a full tuition academic scholarship. While in law school, Professor Tighe focused his concentration of study on areas of Real Estate Law and worked as a housing advocate representing tenants facing eviction and foreclosure.
After law school, Professor Tighe established a real estate focused law practice and real estate brokerage. During the course of his practice, he served as General Counsel of an Austin real estate development firm, helping manage and develop a $500 million portfolio of assets. His personal development projects include several residential subdivisions, and single-family residential construction projects. He is also the co-founder of Eden Homes, a construction and development company that focuses on 3D printed housing and sustainable development.

Jonathan Taporco

As a CFA Charterholder and Chief Investment Officer with Alliant Retirement Consulting, Jonathan is an expert in working with plan sponsors to create and manage portfolios associated with defined contribution and defined benefit plans, as well as employee and plan sponsor education. Jonathan chairs the 3(38) Investment Committee for Alliant and is responsible for the oversight of over $24 billion in AUM.
He started his career in finance as a broker at Morgan Stanley in Greenwich, Connecticut and has over twenty years of financial industry experience with portfolio design, insurance planning, wealth management, and estate planning.
Prior to joining CLS Partners/Alliant Retirement Consulting he was a Plan Consultant at NFP Retirement, Inc. During his tenure at NFP Retirement, Jonathan ran operations and analytics for the New York City office and played a large role in growing the book-of-business from $300mm in AUM to over $2.5 billion in AUM working primarily with hedge funds, private equity firms, and investment banks in the New York City area.
He is passionate about investment analysis, financial markets, crypto-currencies, technology, and sharing that knowledge with plan sponsors and participants. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife and in his free time: enjoys playing classical piano works by Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin; taking walks with his wife and their Goldendoodle Ritz; and is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Austin Community College.

Kelea is the Chief Marketing Officer at the Austin Board of REALTORS® and former Chair of the Texas Real Estate Commission Education Standards Advisory Committee (ESAC). The Education Standards Advisory Committee (ESAC) reviews curriculum standards, course content requirements, and instructor certification requirements for qualifying and continuing education courses, and makes recommendations to the Commission regarding these topics to ensure license holder education meets the highest educational standards
Kelea cares deeply about her community and programs that help young adults realize their dreams and build thriving careers. In partnership with Austin ISD and Austin Community College, she co-created a first-of-its-kind pilot program for Akins ISD in 2019 that allows high school students to graduate with an Associates’ Degree and their real estate license. Kelea serves on the Board of Directors for Creative Action, on the Austin Chamber’s District-to-College Achievement Plan Executive Committee, as a mentor for the Austin Women’s Alliance, and as Chair of the Texas Real Estate Commission’s Education Committee. Previously, Kelea has served on the Austin Chamber of Commerce’s Business Awards Nomination Committee, and the National Association of REALTORS®’ Professional Development and REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE) Committees. Kelea graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Mass Media Communications and International Affairs, holds RCE and C2EX designations, and is a proud graduate of the Texas Real Estate Leadership Program and Leadership Austin.
