Value Statement
The Austin Community College District will comply with Teachers Retirement System (TRS) of Texas regulations regarding employment of individuals retired under the TRS system.
Administrative Rule
Individuals who are retired and receiving retirement benefits from the Teachers Retirement System of Texas may be employed to teach no more than one-half the instructional load of a full-time faculty member, calculated on the basis of lecture equivalent hours (LEH).
