Your first step is to apply to Austin Community College.
Sonographers use high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to create images of organs, tissues, or blood flow inside the body for diagnostic purposes. Graduates find work in hospitals, physician offices, or outpatient clinics. Several areas of specialization, including Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography, and Vascular Technology, are all available at ACC.
