Due to COVID-19, the Veterinary Technology Program is waiving the 80 hours of career/shadowing work experience for the 2021 application cycle. Please contact Administrative Assistant Nancy DeLeon at email@example.com if you have any questions.
Due to the limited opportunities for volunteer/observation hours, the PTA Program is waiving this requirement for the 2021 application cycle. You will not need a Work Skills Assessment Form from a clinician, only from PTHA 1409 faculty. You are still required to submit the Volunteer Hour Form. In the space provided, enter the following code before uploading to the PTA CAS. Your application is incomplete without this form and this code: 0s21hfVp.
If you plan to apply to the Sonography program for Fall 2021, the Ultrasound Student Assessment must be completed between January 1 and April 1 of 2021.
Please note that the TEAS Test is no longer required to apply to the Sonography program. Review the Application Process page for additional information. It is also recommended that you thoroughly review all sections in the “Future Students” column as soon as possible.
Please review the new application process for the PTA Program. The program has transitioned to the PTA Central Application System (CAS). A link to the program’s homepage on the PTA CAS is posted in the “How to Apply” section of the Application Process page.
If a “P” grade is chosen for a Spring 2020 prerequisite course, the “P” grade will not be calculated in determining the GPA for ranking purposes and could impact your total ranking. This applies to Radiology, MRI, Computed Tomography, and Cardiovascular Interventional Technology applicants. For questions regarding choosing a “P” versus a performance grade (A, B, C) please contact Department Chair Jennifer Rigsby at firstname.lastname@example.org.
