TB Test Information
Incoming New students/faculty:
- TB skin tests are no longer accepted.
- Initial tuberculosis screening must be documented by a negative QFT or TSPOT blood test within 90 days of the start of the clinical semester and will be repeated annually at the direction of your department.
- The lab report must include name, date of birth, and the result date of the blood draw.
- TB screening questionnaires must be completed before the start of EVERY clinical semester.
Prior/Current positive blood test:
- If prior positive tuberculosis blood test, submit blood test results ALONG WITH a clear/negative chest x-ray lab report administered within the last 90 days, along with the TB Questionnaire.
- Clinical sites may require a more recent chest x-ray.
- Students/Faculty will provide an explanation of all “Yes” answers on the TB Questionnaire form. If there is not enough room, please attach an additional sheet.
- Please contact the Lisa Enloe, ACC Health Sciences Compliance Coordinator to review the questionnaire. If questionable results, will refer the student to meet with their HCP.
- Students/Faculty will need to provide documentation of TB clearance.
- Final approval will be determined by Lisa Enloe ([email protected]).
