Bat Chats
Bat Chats are thrilling and interactive student-led speaker sessions inspired by TED Talks! These unique events allow you to join your fellow students in engaging discussions on topics that matter most to you. It’s a platform for meaningful conversations, self-improvement, leadership, and motivation. Applications will open in the Fall 2025 semester!
Recognition Opportunities
On Thursday, April 18th, 2024 at the ACC Eastview Campus, students experienced an unforgettable evening at “The Legacy of Leaders” event, where we shined a light on our influential student leaders!
This evening was dedicated to recognizing the unwavering commitment, passion, and impact students make at ACC and the community by the presentation of a distinctive pin. During the evening we had student speakers Kristen Hummel and Bronday Manansala speak about their involvement and leadership at ACC. Students who were involved in the following programs were recognized for their achievements during the 2023-2024 academic year: Riverbat Ambassadors, Student Life Volunteers, Mentor & Leadership Members, Student Government Association Officers & Senators, Recreational Sports & Athletics Athletes, Student Organization Officers & Advisors, Bat Chat Student Hosts & Finalists, Chancellor Student Achievement Award Nominees, and the Student Life Student Leader Award Nominees & Recipients. Students also had the opportunity to sign the “Legacy Banner”, creating a tangible and symbolic representation of their ongoing legacy of student leadership at ACC.
