Riverbat Bash is the fall semester Area of Study Resource fair, designed to introduce ACC students to ACC resources, including Student Life. Additionally, Riverbat Bash provides a space for students to connect with their peers, faculty, and staff, who will all play a critical role in their college experience. Join Student Life for the 11th Annual Riverbat Bash (virtual edition) for helpful resources and community connection!

Riverbat Annual Programming 

Get a proper introduction to Austin Community College and start building community with Student Life during the first few weeks of each semester by attending Welcome Week events & the Riverbat Bash Area of Study Resource Fair. In October & March, be sure to participate in Wellness Week events to help you finish out the semester strong. Finally, celebrate the end of the semester with us at events during Finals Week. Welcome Week is a chance for you to get introduced to Student Life and
your campus community the first week of each semester. Come meet us and
learn about everything Student Life and ACC has to offer YOU!

Recharge with Student Life during our Wellness Week programming.
Each campus will host a series of events to help you feel prepared and
stress-free going into the second half of the semester.

Feeling stressed about your finals? Take a break with Student Life during Finals
Week! Join us for fun de-stress events to help you feel refreshed and ready to
finish up the semester strong.

The Leadership Development Workshops are a chance for students
to further develop their co-curricular transcripts, leadership skills, and
career readiness skills. Each workshop covers a different topic in an
engaging, and interactive way!


Riverbat Bash is a chance for you to learn more about all the resources ACC 
has to offer at the start of each academic year. Come to this virtual resource fair

  • First-Generation College Student: Students whose primary caregivers have not received a 4-year college degree in the United States
  • First Time In College (FTIC) Students: Students that have 0-12 credit hours 
  • First Time at ACC (FTACC) Students: Students enrolling at ACC for the first time
  • International Students: Students who moved to the United States to pursue higher education, and are now enrolled at ACC
  • Students with Dependents: Students who are the primary caregivers, including financially, to dependents
  • Post-Traditional Students: Students who are continuing their educational career beyond the ages of 18-24

Each spring Student Life hosts Nite in the Life to recognize the excellent work
of student leaders across ACC. Students, staff and faculty are able to nominate
Riverbat Ambassadors, Student Organizations and Events for recognition.

Connect is a chance for students to ‘link up’ with Student Life. Student Life 
aims to connect students with Student Life resources through interactive 
components fostering natural conversations and connections. It also serves to
anchor students to the ACC resources that are available to help them succeed.
