Monthly Summary
The month of April saw a focus on data and outreach. Demand for DFI Microcredentials continues to grow, attracting both new and returning students. Furthermore, for the Summer Session, additional sections were added for our most popular microcredentials (Spreadsheets, Web Builder, Data Analytics, and Problem Solving with AI) to meet demand. All the additional sections were filled to capacity and Problem Solving had three full sections.
Our outreach efforts included the development of a new Start Strong/Stay Strong campaign to align with the new ACC goals. Assets for the new campaign included a poster for all campuses, a feature in our Spring newsletter, and an email banner for the DFI team. Our Spring newsletter had a 97% open rate, and we saw enrollment dramatically increase after the release of the poster and newsletter, and by the end of April, we had 273 opt-in registrations.
Our microcredentials are being adopted by more professors within the college, and for Summer are embedded in English, Technical Writing, Intro to Law, English (High School), EDUC (early college), Web Design Tools, Fashion and Marketing, and Electronics.
