Monthly Summary
During July, DFI outreach efforts included ordering branded merchandise for events, publishing the Summer edition of the DFI Newsletter, and submitting an NCWE Exemplary Award application for the Digital Fluency program. Linda Smarzik presented the program to Texas A&M Corpus Christi in collaboration with Distance Learning and the ACCelerator, met with Kara Buckner to continue developing a DFI marketing video, and worked with Community and Public Affairs on the rollout of micro-credential offerings. Additionally, two new micro-credentials—Systems Thinking and Project Management—were added to Suitable for badging, and the DFI Data Dashboard was updated with data from the Spring 2025 sessions.
