THE SENATE STANDARD – ISSUE 2.35

ACC Full-Time Faculty Senate Website

ACC Coronavirus page

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

And, we’re off!  The summer ’21 semester has begun  Welcome back if you were fortunate enough to take some time for yourself between spring and summer semesters.  In case you were off line and didn’t see the Standard published before the summer semester launched, here are a few items for your attention.

We have elected our next President-Elect, Dr. Nancy Stano, and most of our 21-22 senators.  A few “at-large” senate seats remain, so we’ll run a special election early fall to fill those openings.  Keep your eyes open for that announcement if you’re looking for a way to get involved.  Find below the link to the roster of new senators.

We are currently soliciting volunteers to serve on our Shared Governance and Senate Standing Committees.  Below you will find additional information and a link to the volunteer form.

Finally, note the June 4th application deadline to be considered for the ACC Leadership Academy. If you hold ambitions to grow into an ACC and higher education leader, the Leadership Academy is an excellent pathway for you.

Good luck with your summer classes!

Wayne
