Sonography Information Session

Sonography students are required to attend both an Online and an Onsite Information Session. For more information, please visit the Application Process page.

Review the slide presentations below carefully. Additional notes for each slide are available by clicking the cogwheel icon at the bottom of the viewer, or by viewing the PDF files (Slides and Notes). You must view the slides with the notes in order to pass the verification test.

Please watch the video presentation of the Onsite Information Session. You must complete this session to fulfill the requirement. Refer to the following documents as you view the session:

At the end of the video, you will find information for sending the Completion Code to the Sonography Programs email address: dmsprog@austincc.edu.

Note: CastleBranch will show “Rejected” because you have not submitted the Online Information Session Verification email with the correct stamp, but the Program will manually change that to “Accepted” when all applications are reviewed immediately after the 2021 application period closes.

  • Anatomy and Physiology I Assessment Testing Suspended for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 Registration

    Due to COVID-19 and in response to ACC campuses limiting access to essential personnel only, the A&P I Assessment Test has been suspended for the remainder of the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 registration periods.

  • Sonography Program to resume accepting volunteer “patients” in Fall 2020

    The Sonography Programs will resume accepting volunteers beginning in mid to late September 2020. The schedule at each campus is dependent on the sonography student lab session type. For more information, please visit the Sonography Lab Volunteer page.

Effective immediately, applicants for all Health Sciences programs except Associate Degree Nursing, Mobility Nursing, RN-to-BSN, and Sonography should follow these instructions when submitting their application and supporting documents:
