Important Registration Information for Incoming Level 1 Traditional Track and Mobility Track Students:
The Health Sciences Compliance Officer will notify the Nursing Department when students are clear via a list once a week. After your clearance has been confirmed, students will be petitioned to register. Once you have been petitioned, your Cohort Administrator will send you a clearance to register email via your student ACC Gmail account. A student checking their status via CastleBranch does not constitute clearance.
The Health Sciences Compliance Officer will notify students directly if there are any issues with their HSCBC.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR INCOMING LEVEL 1 STUDENTS: Background checks showing as complete in CastleBranch do not indicate clearance. The Health Sciences Compliance Coordinator reviews all background checks. The Nursing Department Cohort Administrators are sent a clearance list from the Health Sciences Compliance Coordinator about once a week. After your clearance has been verified by the Health Sciences Compliance Coordinator, students’ Cohort Administrator will petition students to register. Once you have been petitioned, students will be notified via their ACC Gmail account with registration instructions. Please be patient. This process takes time. A student checking their status via CastleBranch does not constitute clearance.
After completing Level 1 you will no longer be petitioned to register and will no longer receive registration instructions via your ACC Gmail Accounts. As you progress to the next level each semester you will find the registration instruction letters on the Professional Nursing webpage under the “Registration Instructions” button.
