Monthly Summary
Launched the new Digital Fluency & Innovation division with dedicated office space at ACC’s South Austin campus. The three main areas of focus for the month were integrating lessons learned from the Web Builder microcredential pilot, preparing for the SACSCOC visit, and building program processes and procedures. The QEP Implementation Committee also met for the first time.
ACC’s General Assembly offered an opportunity to introduce the QEP implementation plan to the entire college community. A booth was hosted by several of the DFI team during the event and a presentation by Dean Linda Smarzik, Associate Dean Karina Hernandez, and the Director of Student Impacts & Outcomes, Pam Fant-Saez followed.
