THE SENATE STANDARD – ISSUE 2.33

ACC Full-Time Faculty Senate Website

ACC Coronavirus page

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

Here is the last Standard of the spring semester! A relatively short one as we all go into grading mode, busying ourselves with wrapping up yet another COVID semester.  But, do you see the light at the end of the tunnel?  Masks are coming off and people are gathering outdoors to bond again with friends and family.  Of course, we don’t want to spike the ball before crossing the goal line, but there is hope on the horizon.

Your Full-Time Faculty Senate marches on through the summer.  We’ll hold June and July meetings, continue to monitor our initiatives and communicating with leadership on your behalf, and publish a few more Standards. Find below an announcement about our 21-22 Senate election results and opportunities to share your thoughts via surveys and feedback on the latest AR under review. You’ll find some great professional development and leadership opportunities, too.

Keep your eyes open for a call for volunteers for our shared governance councils and committees and our Senate standing committee in the near future.

Good luck with your final grades (due by 5PM on W 5/19!), get some rest, and have some fun.

Best,

Wayne

All responses are confidential, and prior to analysis, all identifying data will be removed. Results are reported at the group level only (employee group, race/ethnicity, etc.), and no employees will be identified or connected to their data in any reports of the survey findings.
