| I blinked and it is the middle of April. How did that happen? It is the time of the semester when most of us are deep in the grading weeds, so today, I offer a little encouragement from a quote that inspires me by Dr. Terry Doyle, “College teachers are miracle workers. The fact that you help to get students through to graduation, ready to face the challenges of the world of work or graduate school, is a great accomplishment given everything that works against you. The fact that every occupation and profession requires education means what you do shapes everything. Although it is easy to focus on fatigue and negative aspects of being a college faculty member, create time to realize you do what few in our society can do, and it makes all the difference. “ You make all the difference. | ACC Board Of Trustees Appoints Dr. Manuel Gonzalez Interim Trustee Dr. Manuel (Manny) Gonzalez will assume the Place 5 seat vacated when Trustee Nicole Eversmann stepped down for a full-time position with the Texas Association of Community Colleges.
