|As faculty have been sharing since early in the pandemic, we have been dedicating an increasing amount of time to supporting our students’ mental health needs. Senate leadership has been working to expand learning opportunities for faculty around mental health support for students and we are excited to announce the offering of Mental Health First Aid training. |

The day-long learning experience is customized for higher education. Faculty participating will develop the skills, resources and knowledge to help an individual in crisis connect with appropriate professional, peer, social, and self-help care.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the Faculty Senate. And all faculty who participate in this learning opportunity and commit to sharing what they have learned with their department, division, learning community, or other campus group, will be eligible to receive a $250 stipend funded by ACC’s Office of the Provost.
Space is limited to 30 faculty members per session (you need only attend one of the two days), so RSVP now to reserve your spot!
