Around 200 ACC employees came out to celebrate the employee Wellness Fest on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11am – 2pm at the Eastview Campus Courtyard!

The employee Wellness Fest event is an opportunity to celebrate ACC employees’ hard work on behalf of the college and our students, and to spend some time on self-care. We had over 35 health-
focused vendors from the campus and community, as well as a food truck, field day games, campus challenges, exercise demos and dancing, and other fun activities that allowed employees to connect with their peers and destress. Some attendees even went home with some really awesome prizes like our new custom 3-D printed bat emblems, hotel stays, boat rides, spa days, murder mystery dinner tickets, gift cards and more.

As employees, this district wide celebration allowed us to take a little time out of our days to pour into ourselves and each other to re-energize, and in turn, better love our students to success!

If you missed the event this year, we’ve included some highlights below. Be sure to save the date for Wellness Fest 2026, which will be held on April 24, 2026.

Highlights from the Event

  • Top Finishers Announced from the 2025 Exercise Stars Challenge
    • 431 total participants this year, with 280 meeting or exceeding their goal
    • Northridge Campus was awarded as the “Most Active Campus” for 2025

Mascot Dance Battle and JEM Shuffle

      • The highlight of the day might have been watching RB and Blue Bear (Blue Cross Blue Shield’s mascot) go at it in a dance battle. Blue Bear had some good moves, but RB’s spirit couldn’t be beat.
      • The ACC Ambassadors of Joy taught everyone the new “JEM Shuffle” to prepare everyone for the Joyful Employee Mixers (JEM) they have been hosting across the district.

      Campus Wellness Cup

Attendees from various campuses were able to compete in field day activities to collect points for their campus to win the Campus Wellness Cup. In the end, Eastview came in first (for the third time in a row), HLC and HBC tied for second, and Northridge took bronze.

      And Lots more Fun!
