ACC partners with St. David’s Medical Center for ‘ACC only’ appointments for mammograms in five, two hour blocks annually. Amenities include a ‘mocktail’, chair massage (ACC Massage Therapy students) and a meal. It was offered for the first time in April 2017. Evaluations showed that 42% were overdue for a mammogram and indicated this event encouraged them to make the appointment. 17% said this was their first mammogram and the mixer motivated them to get the screening.
